John and Nikeyia met in Upper Darby, Pa the county that is on the outskirts of West and Southwest Philadelphia. Sharing multiple conversations at a sports bar called C&C. John and Nikeyia experienced their first date February 23, 2021 where John took Nikeyia to dinner.

After the date, John and Nikeyia fell in love and decided to ignore the damages of their past relationships and commit themselves to the love they felt for one another.

On November 17, 2023, John proposed to Nikeyia. Nikeyia accepted and requested that wedding date be the same as their proposal date. With all the trust issues and concerns in our world; John and Nikeyia found love in their fifties. Don't give up, love is stronger than anything.
